Since years, ADCIS had developed many mobile apps either as local app based on web service or as web app, i.e. running on a remote server through a web page.
In the case of the web service, the data transfer to the remote server is limited to reduce the required bandwith and/or to protect personal data. The app is installed on the smartphone.
A web app is available through a web page that can be displayed on any mobile devices (tablet, smartphone). No software installation on the mobile device is required. The application is running on the remote server.
