Working on an Application for an Embedded System?
As part of the CEOS project, a drone-surveillance project for sensitive areas, ADCIS has implemented specific functions of image processing for the embedded Linux environment deployed on processor boards such as the Raspberry PI or NVidia Jetson.
The ADCIS technical team has developed a very efficient algorithm capable of analyzing in real time the difference between the ideal trajectory of a drone and a shift in that trajectory due to wind gusts or random control movements.
Aphelion - An Embedded Solution
First, the application must be prototyped by the user, using the Aphelion Imaging Suite on a PC in the Microsoft Windows environment. Then, once the application is validated and tested on real images or videos, ADCIS helps transfer the set of functions needed in the application onto the selected embedded processor. Finally, the control of hardware components is integrated into the application.
In addition to image processing and analysis functions, ADCIS offers drivers and functions to interface the image acquisition system based on a video camera or an SLR high-resolution digital camera.
