Saint-Contest, France, February 23rd, 2021 – Official release of version 4.5.0 of the Aphelion Imaging Software Suite. This release includes the following new features:
- Annotate
Annotate is a new software product of the Aphelion Imaging Software Suite. This software product is an easy to use tool to seamlessly and quickly annotate images and videos to generate a ready-to-use database for training a Deep Learning Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). - Deep Learning
The optional extension “Deep Learning” lets the user load a Deep Learning Network generated by TensorFlow. The network can then be used within the Aphelion Dev interface or a software application based on the Aphelion libraries. - Additional features in the Aphelion GUI
- Ability to display a grey scale image as a surface map;
- A new gallery is available to quickly access miscellaneous objects like custom palettes, custom structuring elements, custom convolution kernels, classifiers, and Deep Learning Neural Networks;
- New functions such as Optical Flow, Color Distance Gradient, Projection Shape Measurements, Export to STL, and many other.
Aphelion Imaging Software Suite’s executables and libraries are now compiled with the Visual Studio 2017 software and are based on .NET framework 4.0.
