Here is a perfect example of a long term relationship between ADCIS and the company Briot International, one of the three worldwide leaders in the field of edging machinery for optometry.

ADCIS supplied most of the image processing tools for the AXCELL System, an automatic device to trace/block glasses and sunglasses lenses to be cut. Using a subset of the Aphelion™ Image Processing library, the software is able to detect characteristic landmarks such as marking, edge contours, and to perform accurate measurements of the orientation. Due to processing constraints, all the algorithms were implemented on a dedicated hardware running in a real-time environment.
